This was particularly quick seeing that not too long ago, the figure was at 12 million. These previous packs include cool and lovable characters such as Master Chief, Banjo and Kazooie, Conker, and even Horstachio from "Viva Piñata."Īpart from a birthday celebration, Mojang also revels at the fact that "Minecraft" for Xbox 360 has sold 20 million copies since it was made available on May 9, 2012. Xbox 360 users already enjoyed these free colorful skins but it will be the first time for players using the current-gen console to have the skins. Meanwhile, Xbox One players will finally get to see the first and second birthday packs from the last two years. This pack has "a few cheeky extras" included as well. Xbox One and Xbox 360 players can get an all new pack with "veteran Mojangstas," which has models that resemble developers from the "Minecraft" team that made the 360 game possible and enjoyable. These freebies will be available for download until May 17 in celebration of the game's arrival three years ago on the last-gen console.
